Profhilo® can be used on the face and hands, and is particularly good for treating crepe-like skin on the neck. It is neither a dermal filler nor a skin booster: Profhilo® is termed a bio-remodelling agent.
Profhilo® is injected into specific points in the area being treated, spreading under the skin like honey, resulting in increased skin hydration. It also stimulates the skin to produce more of its own collagen and elastin to smooth and tighten the treatment area.
Profhilo® is advised for clients aged from around 30 upwards, because from this age we naturally start to lose collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.
